This way we can see your beautiful progress as we go along.
To get us moving, I have 2 different hair charts I found (y’all know I’m hooked on Pinterest).
Here’s to our Healthy Hair Growth!
Hair Type Chart
The first is a Hair Type Chart, but not the typical 2a, 3b, 4b/c chart you’re used to. It gives types and information based on strand texture and thickness, and has many tips and style recommendations.
The next info graphic, done by Naturally Curly, gives 5 great tips for growing healthy hair and how much it may grow over 6 months to a year…

A wonderful question from Goddess Corina (check her out her Gorgeous Hair and our full discussion, in the comments of The 90-Day Hair Challenge Post) prompted a search of whether to trim or not to trim our ends when seeing white dots on the hair. I found this graphic about split ends and found it helpful. For some naturalistas these dots indicate split ends and breakage. For others it does not. I’ve seen these dots on my hair but I can’t remember if they caused breakage…I don’t believe so.
Has this happened to you? Let us know!
